Pug Sounds

Millennium New Year. Olympia. The other one. Phone books meant more when stacked. Your fever burned a hole through the z's. The Reef and Tekla. Better time if we get lucky next. What could have been wasn't half as fun as being had. The hospital. Sleater-Kinney Road. I felt cheated, life scissored death. When the message over the intercom broke the silence - "Justin Trosper, please come to the pharmacy counter" - I knew we were golden.

Circle Jerks: Group Six

It's no Group Sex but I always thought the Circle Jerks VI album was their 2nd best.

"Patty's Killing Mel"
"Casualty Vampires"
"All Wound Up"

Screwed Screwed, Chopped Chopped

If Rancid deserves comparison to The Clash (and at times it does), then the Transplants' first album is Tim Armstrong's natural hair extension to Big Audio Dynamite. You already know the shampoo commercial song but the rest is pretty good too. I never checked out their follow-up release but apparently it was the first rock album to be screwed and chopped. No help from Nate Hill.
