Bedlam Hour (SCXHC)

South Carolina Hardcore. Chuck Walker has a nasty teen streak. My friends and I freaked over this shit in 1988. Doesn't hold up after all this time as much as I had hoped, but side 2 of Bedlam Hour's "Rock The Cradle" LP still kicks a sufficient amount of ass. Here's all the essential info.

· "Grey Sweater"
· "Brothers and Sisters"
· "Father and Son Reunion"
· "Castle of Hope"

Current Mood: Styrofoam

More fire photos at Hyattsville VFD

This reminds me of walking around College Park, MD. (The song, not the burning apartments.)

Mr. T Experience w/ Kim Shattuck

Not too many punk rock duets since Exene Cervenka and John Doe did it first and best but Dr. Frank and Kim Shattuck do a fine job of nailing Kiki and Elton.

Hello Mudder

In a past life, some friends were discussing songs their band should cover. Mudhoney made the short list. It was short-lived. Adam Woo, a sage among sixteen year olds, overheard the conversation and quickly set the record straight with a statement that seemed to skip the surface of River Styx like stones:
"Man, don't touch the 'honey."
Absolutely goddamn right. Unless you're prepared to go all the way. Mudhoney - "In 'N' Out of Grace"
