Chronic Disorder Still Drumming

Ditto what H Bomb says about Chronic Disorder but I kinda like this first song off of 1986's "Drums of War" LP (so much that I took the time to rip it from vinyl to listen on my iPod) for its TSOL "Beneath The Shadows" era charm. But the Marley-inspired stuff was total crap. Say la vee, give it up for CT-core.

TOP Music #10: Yogi Cometbus Audio Magazine

Berkeley/punk/zine legend Aaron Cometbus released this tape in 1984. I don't have a very sophisticated digitization set-up, but it does the trick for quick and easy preservation. Even if you're not into the music, this is definitely worth checking out for the War Chest Tours (coverage of the '84 Democratic Convention protests in SF) and KALX talk show segments. Great stuff.

Here's Waldo

1980

2005

Took the last three nights to watch all of Season 2. I went to the last Baltimore Colts game ever (vs. Houston Oilers, 12/18/83) with my older brother and it was cold enough that I was forced to wear a ridiculously over-sized and winterized imitation team jacket. I remember my dad (Walt, btw) remarked, "don't you look like a south Baltimore Polack."

Tilting at Windmills

Tilt - touches of X and Crimpshrine, even though "Fool To Blame" sounds like something off of Kerplunk.
